Road Trip to NYC {+First Weeks at FIT}

It's been a long time, but I finally have something to say!
The first couple of weeks here in NYC have been absolutely hectic and busy that I feel as if I never have time to sit down and relax. Well, here is my chance to finally share with you how my life is going here at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Orientation was a fun experience that is not required, but I recommend it if you’d like to know more about the school before classes start. There were things to do every hour of every day of the week and at times it’s tiring to try to fit them all in, but I recommend you just do what you think would benefit you in the long haul.

At some points, I was super stressed out because of the lack of money I had in the city. I was required to buy certain supplies and textbooks for classes and because all of that adds up, I wasn’t feeling too good financial wise. However, I’m doing good now and I have purchased all the things I need for this semester and some.

Before coming to NYC, my family and I traveled through six states for 19+ hours to make it to the City with all of my dorm supplies. We ran into a few troubles and were tried more than often, but I had a great time traveling. Probably because I wasn’t the one driving (LOL).

Here is a video of our little adventure to NYC. Along with it, there is an update of my classes and my life at FIT. Enjoy:

I have high hopes for my future at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Even though classes for project heavy and I don’t have a lot of free time, I know that in the end, it will all be worth it. I wish everyone luck who plans on attending!
