Collection: Plastic {From NYFW With Fashion Sizzle}

It was my second time at NYFW and I was extremely excited to show my new collection: “Plastic”.
This time around at NYFW, I showed with Fashion Sizzle. I was so honored when they asked me to show all the way back in March. Of course, my busy self didn’t even start the collection until July due to graduation from High School and my showing of two other collections: Creation and Demise and Soda. Both with the amazing Culture Piece Magazine.
My collection “Plastic” was inspired by Barbie and Porcelain Dolls. Growing up, I’ve always loved playing with Polly Pockets, Bratz, and any other brand of dolls you can think of. So, because I’m getting older and have seldom time to enjoy myself and relax, I’ve decided to make a collection that represents my time not only as a child, but the obsession with society to constantly stay youthful and perfect.
When you're plastic, you don’t age. When you’re plastic, you don’t cry. When you’re plastic, you’re perfect. We often try to find ways that will p…

Collection: SODA {Culture Piece Magazine's 1st Anniversary at Can Can Wonderland}

This may be my last ever event with Culture Piece Magazine, but it was one for the books. I had such a great time at Can Can Wonderland for Culture Piece Magazine's 1st Anniversary fashion show. I am so honored that they asked me to present my designs! After seeing the amazing, colorful land of Can Can Wonderland through pictures on their website, I knew exactly what I had to do: K-Pop! Since the beginning of my Freshmen year of high school, I have been, not obsessed, but very into K-Pop. It helps that I spend most of my time on YouTube, so I was able to get a feel of the fashion and vibes of the K-Pop performers. So far, my favorite group is Big Bang thanks to my great friend from high school getting me into them. :)

Each design was created to showcase color and excitement that is often shown through K-Pop. Though it is not literal, it is where I found my main inspiration.

Without further ado, here are my six designs from SODA featuring three extra designs from my NYFW collection BONBONS (All pictures were taken by the amazing Pierre Ware):

Culture Piece Magazine never fails to put out amazing work! The makeup artist and hair stylist did such an amazing job, I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful the work was and how well it went with my designs. The Fashion Show was well organized and was topped with performers from the City who also stole the show! I presented my collection with two other designers who created work that was so different from mine yet everything still flowed so nicely with each other. Like it was meant to be! Every single model was sweet and knew how to rock the runway! This was one of the most fun fashion show I’ve ever been to and definitely one I will never forget! Now off to college!
